Hey everyone. After having a good idea recently how to write an algorithm for support generation, I thought about adding this feature to the customizer (And this was already requested some time ago but I didn't have a good idea then for the implementation). And since my first tests are quite promising, I wanted to ask you what your favourite feature of the following options is!

Tube Generator: From libraries, that define start points of tubes, you can simply select which points to connect and what tube style to use and the customizer will add a tube to the model (e.g. for a plasma cannon)

Weapon Customizer: Take any image and append it to defined faces of a weapon, add muzzle flashes, ...

3D Files Organisation Tool: Create an index for all your 3D files and sort them to categories by AI, search for keywords to find files in your big stl collection. Be aware that this is a highly experimental project and I cannot promise that it will actually work or be usable.

Supports in the Customizer: When creating a model in the customizer, also automatically add supports to the model. Of course with options how thick, long, ... the supports shall be.

To be clear: all 4 sound cool. That said I’d be worried that to make the tool as good at supports as Lychee or Chitubox would be far more challenging than the other choices.

I agree with that! They have far more manpower to create supports and also years of experience with that. Still, I think the 3D model database tool might be even harder with the KI being really unpredictable whether it will work or not
