Update: .conf files were added so you can adapt these models in the customizer.

You voted for Space Bugs for December's release so here you are!

The space bugs were quite a big topic. Not because there are so many files out there that can be remixed (there are only a few). The main challenge was their changed anatomy compared to humanoid beings. Having 4 arms and legs that are connected to the body and not to a separate hip element meant that the customizer had to be adapted. The main changes are:

- If the torso definition file contains SubArmL and SubArmR (what all the libraries from today have), this will enable another pair of arms in the customizer. These arms are more simple, cannot have interchangable weapons. You will find them at the bottom of the customizer

- If the torso definition file contains LegL and LegR (contrary to nothing as it is currently assumed that the torso - legs connection is always at 0/0/0), the legs selection will be hidden and two single leg selection buttons will appear. You can rotate both legs separately in all 3 directions (compared to the leg pair only movable in 2 directions), so you have many more degrees of freedom

- This could be applied to the ork and goblin walkers, too (but I did not do that yet), since the also have single legs coming out of the main torso. Also, the ork walker has 4 arms so this could be used to be able to customize these arms

- These addons make the user interface much larger. Since the wish for a scrollbar was already there, I now took the time and implemented that so you can finally scroll in the customizer if your screen is too small!

These were the main changes in the software, so make sure to update the customizer before using it (otherwise, your space bugs will have no legs and only one pair of arms). About the 3D models - we have 3 new libraries:

- Space Bugs: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/space-bugs-library-for-udo-s-customizer
- Space Bug Boss: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/space-bugs-boss-library-for-udo-s-customizer
- DNA Borrowers: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/space-bugs-dna-borrowers-library-for-udo-s-customizer

and one full army release of a 750 points starter army for Grimdark Future:

So many of you participated in the last poll and I'm really thankful for that, this allows me to make my patroen better for you! Since the most voted next work package is the improved user interface for the customizer, I want to collect more of your needs here (since "just make it better" is not a very explicit thing to implement).

To get your feedback on that, I will publish another poll soon (and that's the final one for this year, I promise!) to collect your exact needs.

Additionally, I want to share some results of the last poll:

- Many of you did not join because of the generator suite, but stay because of that! I'm really happy about this! I love the generator suite much more since it was really fun to develop all the generation algorithms for the different tools in there.

- What you wanted the most for 2023 was: More libraries and a better user interface,  and that's exactly what I will be doing! Some wished for more features in the customizer so I will give you room to tell me what you want in the new poll.

- Extra stuff you wanted was: Our own line of 3D models, our own line of tabletop accessories and scenarios or add-ons for grimdark future. I will also include some small questions for this, to see what you want.

If you feel that one of your points was missed out and is super important, you can always contact me directly (patreon, discord) and then we can even discuss it, which lets me understand you better and explain you if that's possible or when it might be included.

For the rest of December, I will focus on improving the customizer and I have two more releases planned:

- Friday, 16th: A full 750 points squad of prime space soldiers

- Friday, 23th: Christmas special! One really cool library is about to come but I will not disclose it yet! You may still guess.
