Ah... it's good to have ya back Fincher.

Not only is it Fincher, but its Fincher combined with one of my favorite things, a graphic novel. 

I love them, mainly because almost all the greats have a thing in-common; unlike a written novel, which can be as verbose as a student paper, comics have to get to the point. Vertigo's 100 Bullets tells you "mystery man gives a suitcase of untracable bullets, a gun, and proof of who was responsible for wronging you."

"Deal with it."

Not to suggest that The Killer isn't atmospheric, in-fact, it's beautifully patient, maticulously detailing what someone of Fassbender's profession actually does in a globe trotting adventure.

This film isn't complex, it's not epic, it's not larger than life in its cast.

It's just an expertly crafted spy-film from an industry veteran, and it's a joy to watch.
