I've caught up on Naughty Dog's post-PS3 era, and where The Last of Us II and Uncharted 4 overstay their welcome, Lost Legacy better paces itself while telling a better story than both.

Lost Legacy doesn't have Last of Us II's massive gameplay improvements, nor its technical marvel and obsessive detail, in-fact, it's buggier than Uncharted 4. However, the characters a narrative more than make up for it, and the gameplay sequences themselves are also an improvement from Uncharted 4.

Chloe is such a more suitable protagonist for an Uncharted game than Nathan Drake's supposed heroism, and Nadine is the perfect reactor to Chloe's charming yet selfish demeanor.

It's a real shame this game apparently disappointed in sales, I'd happily play a series of games with this cast, and fights with Among Thieves for being the series' peak.

Hmm... Chloe was a big part of game that too.

Coincidence?

I disagree with almost everything in this. Lost Legacy is one of my all time favourite Uncharted games, too. However, stating that The Last of Us II or Uncharted 4 overstay their welcome is a real bad take, as is saying that Chloe is a more suitable protagonist for an Uncharted game – period – than Nathan Drake. Also, Among Thieves is really the weakest Uncharted game imo.

Uncharted 2 being the weakest I think is a much bolder claim than Last of Us II's 20+ hour campaign being too long.

Let‘s not kid ourselves here, Golden Abyss is the real peak of the series.

I agree with this, I enjoyed Uncharted 4, but Lost Legacies knocked my socks off. The banter between characters, the environments, story, etc I thought were all better in LL. But getting both on PC was fantastic, I'm glad Sony saw the light and started releasing on PC. Lets just hope there aren't anymore abysmal ports like Last of Us PT1
