Would you consider destiny a mmo?

Nope, but it's definitely the offspring of MMOs, a live-service. When people call Destiny an MMO, it doesn't surprise me, because many of the MMO conventions are in Destiny. The grinding, looting, raiding, and more grinding. That is what I think comes to peoples minds when they think of an MMO.

It only seems silly when you take the genre term literally, in which case, it's definitely not a massively multiplayer online game.

Are you ever going to do a "minutes later"? Why wait years!

So I can get ass blasted on Twitter for not having the correct opinion minute five of release? I'll leave that fun to my colleagues.

Where is the Elden Ring? I know you have it

Actually, I don't.

I'm still waiting to play Sekiro, or the half dozen other Soulslikes I haven't started.

Do you think gamers will ever stop hero-worshipping developers they know little to nothing about?

Nah, film's have been around for decades longer, and people still hero worship actors and directors. It's all just a part of people not looking into the sausage factory, and quite frankly, it's not their place too. I've got no idea how guitars work, but I still love music, and there's plenty of people who have no idea what a director does, but still loves film. Same goes for video-games.

Plus, I actually pin most of that misunderstanding on Journalists, who have all the ability to help players better empathize with developers, but don't in favor of sensationalist headlines, and easy clicks.

Ray is 6’2 what the fuck?

I'm glad I'm not any taller than that. One inch higher, and you start banging your head against door frames.

Do you think that you'll ever do a Years Later... Series on the Dragon Age series, since you did one for Mass Effect

I'm hesitant for the same reasons I'm hesitant to do one on KOTOR, as I really don't like Dragon Age's pseudo-D&D gameplay. I can't really view it in a fair manner, but maybe that's just something for me to embrace, and use that to contrast why I still love games like Origins.

It is also a massive time commitment, those games are insanely long.

Would you rather fight 100 duck sized Hudsons or 1 Hudson sized duck?

Is there such a thing as over-analyzing a game? Does it become unfair to criticize a game's design past a certain point when the game wasn't intended to be pored over?
