I was originally planning to recommend Squid Game, which I still will at some point, as I think it's a program worth watching, irrespective of the hype attached to it. I also hold the same belief for Arcane, I went into it with pretty low expectations, as someone who hasn't played a second of League of Legends, and doesn't plan on changing that.

However, as much as I liked Squid Game, I haven't seen it twice... I have for Arcane.

It's hard to talk about this show without hyping it up, because the craftsmanship and visual storytelling really is that high tier. All you need to know is that you don't need to know anything about League to like or love the show. Arcane is its own beast, and it's infinitely refreshing to see.

The show was good but I found some of the characters behaved irrationally for the sake of the plot moving a certain direction. Felt unnatural when they're so well rounded outside of those scenes.

I can't get over the animation style for this show blew me away. That said league having as toxic a reputation as it still didn't get me to play it
