Status Report - No Pause, but... (Patreon)

Hello everybody,
We're nearing the end of the month, so I'd like to inform you what's currently going on with the next video. Unlike last month, where I essentially sat the entity of it without so much as a word written, I'm 15 pages in at the moment, that's about relatively halfway based on prior experience.
What's made this video in particular so challenging? Honestly, I'm not sure its the project itself but the timing. It's likely I'll be making this video in Adobe Premiere, because since January, I've not released a video without being forced to pull all-nighters re-rendering videos 5+ times with technical errors. DaVinci Resolve is a great piece of software, but I simply can't trust it when rendering, it's delayed videos by days and left me utterly miserable on the mornings I should be most excited about.
Delving into a game that's easily had the most bizarre and sporadically informed development cycle yet, during a time like this, when its hard to muster up energy to write, knowing what it'd result in, was much taller order than I realized.
It never even really occurred to me until retrospect. I must also admit, the cycles of doubt on many nights were strong. The channel's stats (which I typically ignore) have gone down, obviously, that's what happens when you don't upload. But I don't think it's unreasonable to assume that something which won't bring it back to the algorithm, is a Years Later on an Obsidian RPG you can't even purchase anymore.
But then again, Spec Ops, Stalker, and Metro, have all disprove my assumptions before. Quite drastically. Because of that, I need to see this through. And not making enough from YT? That's where all of you come in! It's because of you that I should only feel pressured to do videos I want to do, and I want to do this one. I don't want to be up at 3am with Resolve, and accept that's what I need to change, and what's been discouraging.
So, that's the state of things. I'm approximately halfway through writing this script, switching software is highly likely, and have been working consistently; it's not resulted in as much progress as I wanted, but I'm not one to oversell.
Whether you've pledged for one month, one year, or more, thank you. It's times like these that make me even more grateful for your support.
Best wishes,
Raycevick
