Should say something that the first thing I'm doing after going to see Death From Above 1979 live in Vancouver, is recommend the band that opened for them!

Yes, DFA was still the main reason to go and a band I've recommended and will continue to recommend forever, however, old-school raw-punk is something that's generally been lost to time, and weirdly, something the kids have to pick up on behalf of the legendary names of the past...

And Teen Mortgage is doing exactly that.

I was very happy to see they're not just a fun live-act, but also an extremely composed duo on their debut album, one without one bad track on it, something that most bands 12+ albums in can't accomplish.

P.S. They're definitely going on my WET Remake Soundtrack should Microsoft give me the budget.
