It isn't often that Master Ranger Beverly Thaerin takes the time to personally offer tutelage to younger ravens. Between her own duties and her secret duties as the Order's spymaster; she often hasn't the time or care to take a personal interest in others.

Vega Lyrae however is an exception. The eager and adorable Pandorican Blade Dancer is the youngest of all officers within the Order. Owing her meteoric rise through the ranks to her martial skill, willingness to learn, and years of experience as a member of Prince Oni Aeon of Pandorica's Red Guard.

Despite this experience, Vega has lacked subtlety in her approach to investigating situations that require tact and patience. The young red panda often relies on her wit, extreme attractiveness, and feminine wiles when her blade cannot be unsheathed; but Beverly aims to teach her other approaches to solving issues.

While taking time to teach Vega how to properly stake out a target, the young woman complains about her hunger; far from one to pass up an opportunity for a teaching moment, Beverly reminds the young blade dancer that you cannot leave your post once the stake out has begun. With this is mind, she tells her that they must eat what is at hand.

Though not exactly nourishing, Beverly was certain that the lovely wah would enjoy her meal. She certainly did.
