Adolyn for a long while likes to abandon/ignore to the point of piling up. Lady Sarissa has to drag him back to it. And he KNOWS he can't say no to Sarissa. Gentle as she seems, she is more than able to be intimidatingly with her Leverin abilities. That and you can't really go against the mother of Raven Knights.
