Jonah Schwazsturm and Aritrea Eridanus met as exceptional young warriors at the age of thirteen in the Assyrian capital, Naveah. Along with the brash young daughter of House Assyrius, Ashina; the three were among the best and brightest of the new generation.

Though Ashina chose to stay in Naveah for her Knight's training, attending the illustrious Xenobia Academy, Jonah and Aritrea were invited to attend Leonarht Academy in the Kingdom's capital, Bast, where the twos relationship grew.

Jonah and Aritrea have shared drinks, drama, and misadventures for nearly twelve years and are privy to each others darkest secrets and fears. The two have survived many brutal battles together, including the 'Battle of Herald's Keep'.

When Aritrea went missing after the murder of her husband, Cress Andola, only Jonah was made aware of her actions and movements; including her training under the 'Edge Master' Garrett Jesstane. 

Despite their differences in personality, the two have always enjoyed each others company. And theirs is a friendship that has only grown stronger over the years.
