The Reaver's Edge by Charmrage (Patreon)

Originally called Coreiseuse; the Reaver's Edge was given to the Lord Adrian Bann after the fall of the Kingdom of Bronwich during the Baptism of Fire. Though it is said to be a 'Holy Sword', the wrathful Lord Bann used it as anything butt, earning himself the nickname of the 'Reaver' in the process. By his death, the swords name had become synonymous with his brutal deeds; being refered to only by it's current name.

The Reaver's Edge was not passed down to his son, himself a famous Knight and Hero of the Baptism, instead it exchanged hands many times before finding its way into the hands of a Courtian Knight named Alanis Brandis, a minor Merlionian lord who took the Raven's Oath in 102 AC. Brandis carried the weapon with distinction until his death, where the sword sat waiting to 'resonate' with a new wielder in the Tomb of the Sleeping Gods. It would wait for over a century.

Upon completion of her training and her rise to the ranks of the 'Conspiracy', the officers of the Raven Knight's, Blade Dancer Vega Lyrae was allowed within the hallow tomb to be paired with a Eldeidan of her own. Immediately the blade glowed embers of energy that resonated with the young Pandorican. Despite also resonating with another Eldeidan, Chandrahrasa, a Khasian Swallow, the sword type created for the Blade Dancer's arte; Vega was drawn to Coreiseuse.

Taking the red blade in hand, the red panda claimed the Reaver's Edge as her own; forming an æthereal link with the weapon.
