There are very few wakaleos left in the world. Their number thought lost long ago. As one of the three surviving 'ancient' Palawan races, the wakaleo are revered among their people for their beauty, ferocity, and connection with the flow.

Riyo and his older twin sister, Champa, are sterling examples of the power of 'ancient' Palawan Bloodlines. Though both are considered mighty warriors, Champa is a prodigy among the huntresses of the Palawa with might that rivals that of the most powerful champions of the realm. Even still, the two are incredibly close, though Riyo often hates being treated like the 'little brother'.
