Idk if y’all just can’t remember the entire season 1.or wasn’t paying attention but u guys act like the writers just scratched the script an dig up a whole new show! This show been about finding treasure since the pilot.

Lmfaoooo this reaction proves y’all never cared for the storylines or the characters’ but instead you’re more focused on the relationships & acting skills of the actors 💀 this whole storyline was based on finding the Royal Merchant, then when they found out Pope was related to Denmark after Ward stole that gold it became about finding the cross of Santo Domingo for Pope’s family, then when Rafe stole THAT gold & they got deserted on an island some Barbados Mobster named Sihng essentially kidnapped one of them to force them to help him find the rest of the treasure. Because the Royal merchant gold AND the gold cross ALL came from ONE place & that is the lost city of El Dorado. This show was well written and kept the mystery of what was truly the main conquest of the series. Everything that happened was MEANT to get them to this moment. The writers said the first 3 seasons was a trilogy about the treasure & John B’s dad, the next are going to be about something else but also it’s own trilogy w/ them as adults. So get used to change 🙏🏾

No lol it’s common sense to pay attention to the plot lines of the show… they were treasure hunters for the past three seasons so it wasn’t “brand new”… and John B loved treasure hunting w/ his dad since he was a kid so it is in his blood to treasure hunt… lol it’s more so frustration that y’all really spent hours watching a show just to not be able to grasp anything from it, like what is the point of watching a show you don’t understand? John B has always been a treasure hunter and he is the leader of his friends. They ALL follow his lead so idk how that is hard to notice since it has been that way since S1. Basing your “opinions” on your own failed theories of the direction of the show is just irresponsible lmfao. Might as well give up on the show now😂

i hope you guys drop the watchalongs for this season as well! i have my criticisms for this season but i'm also excited to see where they take the show going foward since these 3 seasons were basically one arc (said by the creators themselves) and things will be different from now on, it's gonna be a new plot for the most part and the beginning of a new arc. i feel like the show needed a change anyway. also like some people said this show (even though it's a teen drama) has always been about treasure hunting do idk why it's so surprising to you guys that the next plot will involve treasure hunting as well. btw the writers said they did a time jump bc they wanted them to be legal adults but they'll do flashbacks. i've never been a fan of time jumps but sometimes they're needed, i just hope they go back and explore the new relationships as well as other plots points.

they have their opinions and so do we. no one's saying they have to love the show if anything most people even agree that this season had a lot of issues but that doesn't mean we have to agree with every single thing they say because a lot of times they have some really wild takes. plus most ppl in the comments are just pointing out at how this show has always been about treasure hunting since they were so shocked and frustrated about finding out that next season will include treasure hunting.

I respect your opinions but like, I don't get the "how outer banks get to this" if you understand the storyline you know that they've been treasure hunting since the pilot, like that's the hole point of the show lol, if netflix wants them to continue working on new seasons it’s reasonable that the next ones will probably still be about treasure hunt, and of course they're not gonna continue w the hole royal merchant gold thing cause it can become boring, and they are starting a new story since the show is kind of a success, so I don't get your points, I think you guys keep your opinions focused always on the script when it's about outer banks, and btw this is a FICTIONAL SERIES, obviously the script won't always feel like real life

if you guys haven't seen it, you should 100% check out Black Sails. it's only 4 (short) seasons and very well written (especially since it seems like next season they'll be delving into Black Beard and pirates)
