I understand that joel didnt give her a choice, but marlene didnt either. ellie didnt know that she would have to die. even if thats exactly what ellie wanted, she still shouldve had a choice between the two. and i agree, what joel did was selfish..but i also understand why he did it. he lost his bio daughter, he cant lose another.
