They can't team up because it's too difficult to establish trust between just 3 Titans and Zeke and the Warhammer would stop them and kill their families ,+ Marley's entire fleet, they are heavily monitored,and there is no place to run to really Reiner can't say anything positive about the island because if he's caught then he could get in trouble so he had to tell a lie in the table scene the irony is he is also trying to convince himself while he is saying it but in the end he said " all kinds of people there" so he couldn't keep up his charade that in reality he saw them as regular people , the reason why he screamed and Falco was to teach him not to criticize Marley he was basically teaching falcon not to voice his critiques because it can get him killed.thre is no freedom of speech in Marley they are living under an oppressive ethno nationalist regime.

Davion dw too much about being confused , l does get pretty heavy for some ,the transition between season 3 and season 4, isayama took a lot of risks and write advanced level things you usually don't see in shonen or anywhere really, + he intentionally writes this way to mindfucj his readers. He likes to make his readers feel like they don't know what's going on. These eps always bring a heavy realization to that we slightly have been indoctrinated blindly to believe in just one side of the show
