I'm playing around with using the harlot artwork to create something like the Monster Girl Encyclopedia.  I figure this would help promote the game as well as also creating something nice to spread around the internet.

The top text is The Madam giving her gal the most enticing introduction possible.

The lower text is the actual information on the girl (likely from The Portly Gentleman's notebook).

Thought it would be funny for the contrast between them.

This is just a rough mock-up to see how it looks.  I feel it's lacking... something.  Maybe a more interesting background and layout.  (I think the MGE tries to look like an open book, but I don't want to rip that off too much.)

Any suggestions?

Maybe include some trivia on each harlot? Little character details that aren't super relevant but flesh them out?

A parchment texture background with a few occult symbols here and there would fit the fantasy of reading straight from The Madam's lectern. I could also see a golden frame around the girl's portrait.

That was one of the ideas I had if I ever port HoHH to a proper game dev program (like Godot). Information would be stored between player runs and fill out a notebook as the player determines gift preferences, etc.

Yep, the background needs a little something. I might be overthinking it though. It doesn't really need to be much more than picture + profile. Maybe just a case of tweaking the font and text layout.
