Harlot Spotlight - Sorpresa Ombra (Patreon)

Over the past couple of months I've been putting out a series of harlot spotlights to preview harlot art for House of Hellish Harlots.  To help fund those art commissions I created $5 and $10 tiers.  And then to give people that subscribe at that level something, I started the harlot spotlight series to give an early look at the art as it comes in as well as the original scripts and some background lore on the characters.

Sorpresa Ombra is an earlier piece.  One I had commissioned from Marwmellow before I even realised I could create a version of HoHH with art (still working on that, updates to come).  Because her art has already been around for a while, I thought I'd give a free taster of what the harlot spotlight series is.

Sorpresa Ombra isn't the best to cover from a lore perspective, as she's intentionally one of the more mysterious ones.  She's albino, maybe blind and looks like something used to living in the darkness.  She might be a lamia, although the other harlots aren't sure on that either.

Despite having a snake-like lower half, she prefers to smother men in her cleavage rather than wrapping them in coils and constricting them.  She also likes to sexually dominate any man she wraps her body around.  She knows plenty of dark arts, sexual or otherwise, including knowing how to use her tail to stimulate... certain hard to reach places.

She is affiliated with The Sanctum of Strangulated Sighs, but cares little for the internal hierarchy and is possibly more powerful than her rank would suggest.

And now the behind-scenes stuff on mechanics and inspiration.

She's one of the earlier harlots.  I'm not sure if I'd even developed the idea of her faction being about smothering when I wrote her.

I think the idea for her was a lamia that used her breasts to smother while having sex.  I also let her use the tip of her tail to stimulate the prostate to reinforce how a lust daemon overwhelms a human with sensation to shake the soul free.

For her I wanted to show it was about the souls and she's one of the rare monster girls where her face goes demonic as she claims it.  I wanted a few dark and scary harlots in the House to remind people that the horror part of erotic horror is still present.

She also fits another sub-theme of HoHH.  Instead of grouping the more common monster girl types together, I thought I would spread them across the different factions.  Each would then have two groupings – one that reflected the type of monster girl the harlot was, and another to represent her area of speciality.  While it hasn't been fully implemented (because I don't have all the harlots in place), another source of gossip is hints some harlots give on other harlots.  Those hints can be about other harlots in the same faction, or for harlots of a similar type.
