BASEMENT LATRINE

The small room is a latrine consisting of a wooden seat with a round hole over a shallow peat.  A hanging censer tries to blot out the smell with perfumed incense.

A successful spot check will reveal something glinting in the pit.  If the player puts a hand in they will retrieve a small ring.

This could be a key item, but is likely just treasure.  The main point of it is that the ring looks like it got there after passing through someone's body, which should raise some disturbing implications...
