Update 3rd Jul '22 (Patreon)

And we're through that odd admin month (mostly).

I still haven't generated a cover for A Succubus for Saint Patrick's Day I'm happy with, but other than that I have 6 manuscripts that are roughly ready to go.  I'll give them a quick once over on my kindle and check them with a couple of previewers.  One of the annoying aspects of the app Amazon gives out to format manuscripts is it follows this annoying modern web design philosophy of "why would you want to do that?" whenever you try to micromanage some display aspects.  Want to rename the contents page or format the list differently to the default.  Nope, Kindle Create say fuck you.

Annoying, but it is what it is.

I'm away next weekend, so I'm aiming for "A Succubus for Christmas" to go live the following weekend (Fri 15th).  I want to upload it before then so I have a "coming soon" page I can hype as the first few days are normally critical to get a new book near the top of searches.  After that I'm planning to release the other 5 in two-week intervals.

That's the ebook stuff, though, and I want to move away from that and back to "House of Hellish Harlots".

Once I got the afterwords and major proofreads out of the way I went back to the Huntress 2 scenario.  That's suffering a bit from a stop-start approach that's taken it off the boil.  Normally, I tend to put scenarios like that on hiatus until I can pick the threads back up again.  I think I'm just about past that as I was able to chip away and add a scene here and there over the past few days.  Now I just need to write the Good End sex scene and the Bad End scene.  It's still a bit of a mess.  The original idea for the huntress was a big drunken survivalist oni hunter.  She was just a bit too cliched.  As Huntress Diana seems to have been fairly well received, I think people were hoping to see more harlots from that hunting lodge, so I'm planning to change and clean up a messy first draft when I come to type it up.

Despite this scenario being a little messy, I will add it to the list of options.  I'll put the poll up Tuesday.  Monday will be seeing whether I can get enough of Energy Bunny written to feel safe adding her as well.  The plan is to give patrons a choice of 6 or 7 harlots and then implement the top 3 for July's HoHH release.
