That was a little frenetic.  I wasn't sure I'd have Pori ready as her scenario came in at 7,000 words when typed up.  The last two days were rather busy!

Version 0.023 adds two new smotherbuses and a cuddly creation of The Doctoress that can be rather absorbing.  It also adds an accelerated start option that skips the intro.

Here are the full details:

QoL - ACCELERATED START
While the intros are fine, they are really annoying to go through again and again, so I added a skip option.  The accelerated start jumps the player right to the first harlot introductions, similar to the early demo versions.

This also has the bugfix for the rare event where talking to the Elegant Woman at the wrong time about Sgriosar would not produce a Continue option and leave the player stuck there.  I've also fixed a ton of typos people have helpfully pointed out.  There is still a plural/singular grammar problem with some gifts and passages.  I've added that to the Todo list for a future release.

NEW HARLOTS
I'm still focusing on the 'smother' faction.  I've nearly completed their roster now.  This faction is heavy on late-game harlots.  To balance that out, the new pair aren't so lethal.  I'm quite happy with how their personalities turned out as they are a little goofier than my usual killers, but are also more than capable of being dominant.  I hope people have fun with them.

YGOLIA CAMPBELL
She's a sleek femme fatale type.  This is because she's obsessed with human spy movies and insists the player play a sexy little roleplay game with her.

BEBI ANSIKT-SITTA
She's a new harlot in the House and eager to please her human visitors.  While she's a little naive on some matters, when it comes to facesitting she leaves men gasping for air beneath her pussy.

As with the last release, I have a harlot from another faction to add a little variety.

PORI, THE LOVE SPONGE
Another artificial being.  She's soft and lovably scrunchy, and loves men to give her a nice squeeze.  She also has an absorption scene and a fairly nasty horror end if the wrong conditions are met.  You are warned!

Funnily enough, this one was already in progress when I received that lovely Nurse Honey artwork.  While Pori is no Nurse Honey, she'll hopefully hit the spot for people that liked the absorption aspect of that art.  Her horror end is a little nasty, though.  Horror head escaped the cage on that one.

And that's version 0.023.  There was a little bit of a rush at the end as I realised about half the things I was working on over the month weren't ready to be included.  Getting Pori finished in time makes me feel a little better about it.  I hope you have fun with the new additions.  Let me know what you think in the comments below.

ETA: Now the rush is out of the way, tomorrow I'll get around to properly answering all the older comments that have piled up.

I've noticed a fairly minor issue with the Ygolia scenario. After you fail to provide the correct code, Ygolia removes her left glove. Then, later, there's the line "you moan into her smothering glove" which implies that her left glove is still on.

Ouch. I remember noticing and thinking I'd fixed that. Must have missed it on another pathway. I'll add it to the typos list. Thanks for letting me know.

Hi, thanks for all the harlots I mean hard work. I have some questions about some of the old harlots, specifically Sammy, Morticia and Vête. Is there a way to make Sammy take your soul? Is there a second encounter with Vête? Maybe a revenge on her part when you manage to scape the first time? Is there a way to survive Morticia? I have tried a lot of different scenarios trying to get any of the above, but I guess they don't exist. Sorry for the long comment and thanks again.

Love the work you do! Will there be repeat visits to Ygolia at all? and will there be any pegging scenarios?

Sammy is the victim of a nasty practical joke from the succubi. Talk to the Elegant Women after visiting her for the reason why she can't take souls. On the other hand, Morticia is always lethal. Her game role is to add tension to some rounds when she cuts the available choices down from 3 to 2. I had to stop and rethink on the repeat scenarios as they were causing too much work for their relevance to the game. Some of them are now relevant (as separate harlot scenarios in their own right), so I'll be reworking how they're handled. What I'll likely be doing for some of the older harlots is putting it to a patron vote to see which ones people would like to see get more material.

Maybe on the repeat visit. I'm planning to leave one slot open for each faction for patrons to vote a harlot to have an additional scene. As for pegging... sort of, maybe. It will probably be in a more adjacent manner of succubi/monster girls inserting tails or tentacles in the ass (such as Sorpresa's scene).

This post is a little bit of both, an answer to a comment you made in another post, and regarding 0.023. When it comes to Nurse Honey, I will be the first to admit it: If I could choose the next Harlot to be implemented into the game then it would be her. But I think you have done the mistake of listening too much to what people want in the past, instead of doing what you want to do. So, just do what you want to do. When it comes to 0.023: The scenarios are nice, and when I went to the Madam in order to choose a specific Harlot, I realized how big the game has gotten. I can remember the first test version of the game... There were like 4? Harlots or so... Now you need to scroll in order to find the Harlot you want :D Amazing

I've made the mistake of listening too much to my self on some occasions - either trying to push something that wasn't ready, or abandoning a perfectly fine project too early! :D I definitely want to prioritise finishing a faction as proof-of concept at the moment. And also because I might need to break the project down into separate modules - the Twine editor is really struggling with the amount of text at the moment. If I get stuck on that and get some really good ideas for Nurse Honey, I will juggle the order around. 39 harlots now. I did say there would be a lot! The project is also fairly open-ended. I want about 100 for the base game, but can always add new factions and harlots as additional content further down the line. Weirdly, looking at how complex some of scenarios have turned out, I do wonder if I maybe should have gone with the original idea of a shorter game of just 10 or so highly detailed encounters. That could be a test project if I need to move from Twine to something like Unity to be able to add art, music and sounds.

As a related question regarding NPCs, what are the plans for implementation you have? That is, do you think it more productive to get to them when you are working on their faction or theme as a whole, or whenever the ideas for their scenario(s) might come to you? A couple of bug/refinement notes: - Mulligan the first selection and you get the Barman intro again - Now that the Lip ailment is in, I believe at least one applicable harlot is missing an option or scenario shift affected by it. The example I can think of, at the moment, is Suka. I imagine since you are still refining it all it probably is not too much of a priority.

For the NPCs, I'll probably start slotting them in after I've got a faction fully done as proof of concept. Some NPCs will function as mini-bosses within a faction (Doctoress with the artificial beings). That might slide around. If I get stuck on a Queen and have a really good idea for an NPC, I'll switch to that first, for example. - I'll check the mulligan option, if it's the fast start it should skip the barman intro. That path must have missed the check somewhere. - Ailments is something that needs a balance sweep at some point. There are some like Zuripai that should be irresistible to certain ailments, but I've left it off for now until I can move the harlot back to the right round range.
