Here is the new release for House of Hellish Harlots.  More smotherbuses (and a foul-mouthed glass golem) enter the House.  Here are the details:

QoL

Fast Barman Intro
There is now a speedier option to get through the Barman's introductory dialogue.  That should make repeat playthroughs less annoying.

NEW HARLOTS

Soffocaria Gattagrandi
The 'pussy smotherer'.  She likes cunnilingus, but only from men that know what they're doing.

Chén
Not a smotherbus.  This is the glass mannequin doll I couldn't quite finish last month.  She likes dancing and is very elegant... until she opens her mouth.

Osculia Suffocati
The 'kiss smotherer'.  There is a little bit of mind control and hypnosis here, but her full effects won't be seen until I add more lip specialists and give her a repeat visit.  She's still quite dangerous.

An iffy month overall.  It took me a while to get up to full steam and then I panicked and froze up at the beginning of last week (hence this being a couple of days late).  On a more positive note, delaying has enabled me to get the other harlot scenarios moving again, so hopefully we'll have a few more enter next month.

Love it! I'm excited to read these most recent scenarios. ------------ On an aside, Hydra have you thought of connecting with Olympus who is making the Succubus Covenant games? I was just thinking they might be right up your alley in terms of horror based succubi and game development. https://www.patreon.com/OlympusZion/ Potentially could also be a good folks to cross pollenate you patrons with. Also, you'd probably love the game.

I've seen some of the scenes for Succubus Covenant. Very hot! I haven't played it since a very early demo. Would definitely like to connect there, although it would be more of a "can I borrow your main artist, for like 4 years". :D

Her mechanics do scream for a repeat visit. I think I might add one anyway, but it will likely be to close the trap she sets for the player.

In the next version, an option like "Present only harlots added in this version" would be nice. Or, an easier solution is to simply make them possible to appear on round 1. I have restart the presentation part on day 1, 4, and 5 dozen times now, and not once seen any of the new girls.

you can also go through and immediately get your free mulligan token, save, and use that mulligan token to have new a harlot appear in round 2. As long as you can survive round 1, you can keep the first save with the mulligan, you can reload and choose a different new harlot to see

Yep. Normally, I was going to keep it a couple of months behind, but I think I screwed up with the unskippable barman intro. That is fixed for v0.022, but there's still a lot of clicking to get to the first harlot selection, so I'll likely add a turbo start option for v0.023 and release that on the public version at the same time. Then I'll probably go back to staggered releases.

I was clearly very wrong with my initial horrifies reaction to hearing that the next bazillion harlots were just going to be smother scenes. At first I was like "but what about us that aren't into smothering?? is the game at an end?" I should have had more faith in you hydra. Sorry If I was a little blunt. This update was one of the best yet. They are so much more than simple smother scenes. Loving all the harlots in this one. They vampire woman is amazing. Are vampires going to be a thing or is she just a one off? Chen was brilliant too. Although I was a little surprised to discover that the charm that makes you a great dancer had no effect in her scene. Was this as intended? or a bug? Either way. Fantastic work dude. I am so glad to be proven wrong.

That's great to hear. While it makes sense to work on the harlots in clusters, there is a risk that will leave long periods of concentrating on fetishes/monster girls that leave people cold. Even if the harlots are grouped around fetishes, I still want to make them varied - either in character or how they cater to that fetish. I fleshed out ideas for a vampire faction after introducing Acarina. I have a strong idea of what their 'mechanic' is and have some scenario ideas already fleshed out. The fun thing for this setting is it's a little different to where vampires normally fit on the hierarchy as nearly every lust daemon looks down on them for drinking blood rather than semen/energy. Not that the humans notice - the vamps will be just as alluring and haughty as the myths. Some of the other harlot gossip (and the Elegant Woman) will likely be amusing. They will probably also have a rivalry with the 'leech' faction (lust daemons focused on brute sucking to erotically drain men) Suka and Hiru are part of. The stat-setting charms all set stats to 4. It's a safish value and can be cheaply pumped by the Doctoress's potions. The reason being that, unlike a regular RPG, the stats are just markers rather than a value the player pumps up over the course of the game. Having a high value isn't always good.

On one of my playthroughs, I noticed that the Boob Fixation ailment did not give priority to Zuripai Suponji. I did have Boobella in that selection, and was forced to choose her instead. Is this intended? Is there a tier system for bust size that I haven't discovered yet? Most of the harlots are given some mention of their large breasts in the descriptions, but obviously some succubi are more buxom than others, even if the differences in their descriptions are subtle.

Zuripai currently isn't a force pick for boob fixation. I might change that at some point. There will be some rebalancing with the ailments. When I added Zuripai I was concerned that her being a force pick in the early rounds was likely a death sentence for the player. She'll likely become a force pick in future. There's no tier system (okay, there's a slight one - enslaved takes precedence over the others). If there are multiple force picks in a round the player gets to choose between them. I'll also try to make a few non-instant death force picks as well. They might tug the player off the path they want to follow, but not necessarily kill them,
