Okay, this is pushing things tighter than I'd have liked.  But it's done.  Version 0.017 is ready.  I'll be a little quick on this as I want to give people a chance to grab it before the clock clicks to April.

What's in this one:

FULL INTRO
The game has a beginning.  I adapted the very old intro and streamlined the options.  Yeah, the car breakdown scenario is a little hackneyed, but it's the classic.  There are also multiple options to set character dispositions as well as chat to some NPCs for some background.

MADAM'S TOUR
On entering the House, the Madam will give the player a tour which has a primary purpose of explaining her 'rules'.  It also introduces a succubus I'll be giving a scenario to at a later date.

The full versions of both the Intro and Tour are quite long.  They exist to set the scene a little better than just throwing the player into the first set of choices.  Because they're long, I also added options to skip through them quickly, so on subsequent playthroughs you should be able to get right to the first harlot selection in about 5 clicks.

FLESHED OUT PASSAGES
The main game loop passages have all been fleshed out, so it should feel more like a continuation of reading a book rather than the barebones instructions that were there before.  Unfortunately, I wasn't able to complete The Barman NPC in time, so the hub passage for pre-room actions is still clearly a placeholder.

NEW HARLOT
The stoner caterpillar girl, Kanna bi Grafolita, makes her debut in the House.  This was an attempt to write a monster girl a little different to the usual ones.  I hope people like her.  I'll post something on her creation later when I'm not frantically trying to beat a deadline, because it opens up another harlot idea.

MADAM REVAMP
This is just part of the regular updating and improving I do to the NPCs.  The main change is that the 'Buy Mulligan Token' option unlocks a little quicker.  I also put in support for harlots that are multiple girls such as the Muchadh Sisters, so that The Madam refers to them naturally as "they" instead of "she".

HARLOT MAINTENANCE
I carried on updating the harlots I didn't get a chance to finish for ver0.016.  This means that Calliophi and Queen Colubridis will now reveal their true forms earlier if the player has the right charm among other interactions.  I didn't get them all done, so Suffocatrix Mamilla won't interact with the anti-smother charm even though it might seem like she should.  This is queued up to be done.

What isn't in ver0.017:

THE BARMAN
Too many rewrites and awkwardness this month.  I have rough drafts of his segments, but they still need a bit of editing to hit the right tone.  I'm hoping to get him out of the way early April.

SOME HARLOT MAINTENANCE
I'll save you some time and experimentation.  Suffocatrix Mamilla, Cibi Somnia and Sorpresa Ombra have not been updated to interact with charms, so don't torture yourself trying out combinations.  Mamilla will have an interaction I'll add later.  Sorpresa may have an interaction.  I forgot to create an anti-sleep charm, so Cibi still has free rein to eat your dreams.

SOME BUGS AND ODDNESS
These are things I've noticed and queued up to sort out.  They're corner cases that shouldn't come up very often.  An obvious one is the 'true vision' charm.  If the player picks it up, the text will behave as though they've seen the true form of the harlot at the presentation stage when this didn't happen.  The fix will be delaying its effect to the start of the next round and I'll add that for a future release.

Anyway, April is looming fast, so I better hit post to get the file out there.  As always, I hope you enjoy and let me know what you think in the comments below.

Is Colubridis the "sister" Calliophe mentions? I can't seem to access her or Anna after meeting Calliophe twice.

The intro kinda makes me want to see what happens when you don't show up for the selection. Guess that's how the Madam gets her fair share of souls in the House. Also, I wonder if you get to learn a little bit more about the Madam and the House, once you are close to the full release. I can remember that you once said that the House has its own kind of personality. In a way it feels like the Madam is an extension of the House and maybe thats what you are going for, but having something like a Monsterpedia would be interesting later on. You could also maybe make the Monsterpedia relevant to the game itself. Just imagine something like a library in the House, where you get to learn some secrets about Succubi, the Madam, maybe even Nurse Honey and so on, that you wouldn't be able to learn otherwise. And in order to make it dangerous, you can have succubi showing up in the library at certain times (just like in Succubus Prison, for example). Obviously, if one of them finds the player character than that's certain doom ;) PS: This could also give you the option to add some lore and world building to the game or your stories in general. For example, I have always wondered what your succubi do outside of the usual "I like to eat human souls" activities.

The 'sister' hasn't been introduced yet. She was supposed to be in the original 'snek' release with Sorpresa and Colubridis before things went a little wrong and I switched out to writing short stories for a couple of months until I got my mojo back. Her scenario is currently on the half-finished pile. As with the succufairies, I have an idea there for a sort of mini-quest line that will open up scenes with Calliophi and her sister (together). It's something I'll be working on properly once I have more harlots out.

Not showing up is an option I want to put in at some point. It will be a Bad End (or even Horror End), but I think it's something that needs to be there to give more of an illusion of choice. Monsterpedia is something I want to add. I don't think it will be something I can provide proper story and game play integration, so it will likely be an outside-game reference that's unlocked after seeing the harlot (maybe linked to scoring, but with extra options to indicate which Bad End the player has seen). I removed the stub hinting a gallery mode for this release as it's so far off as to be a needless distraction. I still haven't decided yet whether the player accesses it in game through talking to the Madam, or through the Monsterpedia (as in Monmusu Quest). Lore is a bit fragmented and still coming together. The smother succubi feel like a fairly defined group with a 'home' location outside of the House. That group was originally going to be a Hellraiser-esque pain'n'pleasure group, but then morphed more into "softer" smothering and breath control.
