More slow and steady progress on the intro and fleshing out of House of Hellish Harlots.

I wasn't totally happy with the Madam tour sections.  Not quite needing junking, but not right.

So I carried on with the revamp of The Madam's NPC section, thinking that should get me back in the character again.

The revamp is done and tested.  It puts her sections in line with the others and streamlines some of the dialog options (especially the unlocking of how to buy Mulligan tokens).  The other thing I did was update her dialogue for The Muchadh sisters, so she refers to them as 'they' rather than 'she'.  It's a little thing, but looks awful from a grammatical perspective if not handled.  Yes, there will also be more group harlots, and likely more than pairs as well.

Then I went back and typed up the initial tour sections.  That section is just over 2,000 words and broken into 6 or 7 sections.  I'm still iffy on whether that's too long.  It does set the scene and outline how the game will play out without being rulebook-dry.  I will also add a skip option.  Reading through once for the first time is probably fine.  The player having to click through for the 5th time after Anna Boa has squeezed him to death, probably isn't.  I think I'll hold off editing and implementing until later in the month.  There are still some things I want to tweak to get the mood right.

I've also written the 1st drafts of most of the fleshing out sections - just to add a little more than "you walk to the harlot's door" etc.

While I was on that I started with the NPC Barman's section as one leads into the other.

The work overall ended up being a little more fiddly than I was anticipating, so my earlier estimates are off.  The only harlot I'll be able to add for this month I think will be the Hookah Caterpillar girl, as she's already written.  On the other hand, there's a good chance I should be done with NPCs, Intros, and Internal Passages at the end of this month, and then it will be harlots, harlots, and more harlots from then on.

Thanks for your interest and support!

So thanks to the joys of save scumming I've gotten a bit further into how and noticed something a bit odd. Despite knowing full well in my run that there are harlots I have yet to see I run into the madame telling me there are no harlots left to select. Out of curiosity is this twine running out of room, too many charms, or maybe something else?

Something else. I had a rough idea for a faction system for progression and the selection algorithm reserves one of the 3 slots for harlots from a specific faction to enable that progression (which changes). If you arrive at that message it means the game can't find a harlot to fit that slot as you've already seen them all. Can happen as soon as after round 4 depending on choices. (It's why I chucked in so many placeholders at the beginning)
