Ideas File - The Interdimensional Arachne Brothel (Patreon)

I was catching up on reading the "Interspecies Reviewers" manga recently.  If you're not aware of it, it's a comedy series where a group of fantasy adventurers go around reviewing monster girl brothels rather than the usual fantasy-world adventuring stuff.

In one chapter it was the turn of the arachnes and I liked how their brothel was presented.  The punters give the girls the cash and it's hidden away in a back room and they have to sneak through the webs to retrieve it.  Of course, the point is to get caught by a spider girl for the ensuing sexy fun times (a point comically missed by the party's rogue).

I liked the idea and reading the chapter started the cogs spinning in my head.

As a game it's probably too straightforward.  There's a goal and a series of obstacles in the way that will trigger all the sex content as the player is caught and pleasured by various sexy spider women.

(Why I didn't make a simple concept like this first rather than jumping straight from single scenarios to the more complex House of Hellish Harlots, I don't know!)

A novel could also be interesting.  I was thinking of taking the typical Stephen King-esque group of a few dorky boys and token girl (but making them all of legal age, obviously!) and introducing them to the interdimensional arachne brothel.

The girl is kidnapped and webbed up with a friendly(ish) arachne in a back room and the boys have to rescue her.  Of course they don't and get picked off one by one by a variety of arachnes, all with their different 'specialities'.

I think it would need to be more light-hearted and comical than my regular stuff.  i.e. similar to the Interspecies Reviewers idea in that it's still a brothel rather than a slaughterhouse.

I was thinking I'd subvert the usual damsel-in-distress trope and have the girl and her interactions with her arachne jailer be the reason things stay comical sexy fun rather than lay-an-egg-in-your-skull Bad End fun.

I reckon I could always throw in a bully/jerk character with less than noble intentions to the 'prize' if we want to have a smidgeon of the regular Bad End ickiness.

Just ideas at this point.  Don't worry, I'm not going to suddenly start lurching into this as I'm currently busy writing new scenarios for HoHH.

I really wish I could write faster.  So many ideas and so bloody slow at implementing them! :D
