*this is where I pretend to be coy about the outcome, but I suspect I'm not fooling anyone. :D

Okay.  Some good news finally after a couple of slow weeks.

"The Subway Succubus" is now typed up.  I was also a bit wrong with the 80% done, but that doesn't really matter as I typed the 2.5K words up in a day and a half anyway.  The story comes in at 6.7K words.  Not quite sure how, as it's a fairly straightforward horror story, but never mind.

My plan is to edit it Wed/Thur and then post it sometime on Thur.

Before then, I have another naming opportunity for patrons.  If you'd like to see your name (or any other name) on the (un)lucky succubus bait and haven't been picked for a previous story, post in the comments below and I'll pick whichever one sounds like a good fit.

I'm still planning to post it on Literotica, despite missing the deadline for the Halloween competition, although you will get a chance to read it here first.  You might also be the only ones to read it.  I went horror on this one and there's a bit of ick near the end, so it might turn out to be a little too much for Literotica.

Anyway, this one should be out Thursday.  And if you'd like to see your name on the main character, post below.

Could we see a Josh or Joshua succ'd to death?

I'd absolutely love to see myself suffer a slow death at the hands of a succubus! How 'bout a Gage?!

I would like to see a Mark get turned into a desiccated husk by a succubus.

Oh, now that is an idea, giving patrons a chance to name an asshole or nemesis character that we can displace onto. Might help to build another immersion layer into your stories and maybe prime the muse. Brad would be my preference; I'll give a little context.

Civil

One Brad I had the misfortune of meeting was my college significant other's theater co-lead and played her stage love interest. Maybe he was a good guy on stage and friendly enough off, but he continuously tried to coax my partner into compromising situations such as getting her drunk/alone, putting moves on her, and going so far as to nearly sexually assault her. So it'd be great if a Brad in some story gets offed in a sexy creative way for continuously acting like a deplorable shit who seeks to undermine healthy relationships and disrespect boundaries.

A David would be cool. Dont remember the last time you had an unlucky Dave.

Benjamin d'Entrecasteaux

Oo oo oo do me do me do me. If the fellow is an asshole then ‘Trent’ (typical American high school movie bully name) or if he’s a good chap, then maybe Fabian?

Ari. Sweet. Simple. And Also it is a fun name imo

Damn. A lot of suggestions. I need to write more stories! Normally, I go with first-come, first-served, but Gage actually fits the character pretty well in this case. Sorry Joshua, I'll make a note and give you first dibs on the next one. (I also need to find my notes from the previous times I've done this to make sure everyone gets a chance - organisation, organisation, organisation!)

Also, while I'm fine with using nemesis names for the really really bad ends, I tend to avoid it. I'm always reminded of how Wes Craven named Freddy Krueger after a school bully that tormented him, which probably ended up backfiring given how popular that character ended up being. I'm not completely averse to it, but I'll save it for characters with few redeeming qualities that end up very very dead with no chance of comeback. Mmm, maybe that might make for a fun thing. Write the odd cathartic hatesink story where Nyte gets to really have fun with a hated boss/rival/bully. That might be fun.

Random Guy

Is there anyone else who thinks it quite boring if "bad guys" are the ones being drained to death. Some are my favorite stories of you are Succubus vs Knight and Succubus' Keep, precisely because the protagonist is a "hero".
