A quietish week.  After trying to hit two tightish deadlines in a row, I needed to catch up with some IRL stuff.

"The Succubus Heart Squad" didn't place in Literotica's Valentine's Day competition, but I thought it was a long shot at best.  It doesn't quite have the same emotive 'punch' as previous winning Nicole stories and rushing it out probably meant I missed a lot of typos that will have me blushing in shame when I come to re-edit it for a collection.

Despite this, I hope you all enjoyed reading it.  It was good to get it finished, finally, and I'm hoping to sneak a few more short stories up on Literotica before the year is out.

House of Hellish Harlots - new harlots.
Currently I'm at work on:

Boobella - 1st draft in progress
She is the same character that appeared in the short story "A Chance Glance in a Student Bar".  She will have a paizuri and full sex scene.  I'll also be trialing some player 'ailments' (see below).

(mindflayer girl) - 1st draft in progress
She will have a pretty face, don't worry.  Her alien bits are just tentacle hair.  She'll have a regular sex scene and a trippy brainfuck scene.  I've also written her a fairly gruesome Horror End, because I think we know by now I can't resist trying to 'get' readers with unexpected squicky horror.  It makes the sexy parts more sexy, honest.

(massage lamia) - 1st draft in progress
I'm still trying to separate her out into 'massage' lamia and 'erotic dancer' lamia, so this will likely end up being two scenarios.

NPC Nurse
Originally, I was only going to implement her semen recovery functionality.  This week I've been brainstorming how to make player ailments work and I have something I might try out for the next release.

Player Ailments
These are going to be negative status effects, but I'm going to be pretty sneaky about them.  The player won't see them marked on their character.  They will be a hidden attribute and their effects will be subtle as well.  However the player will be able to get diagnosed and cured by the Nurse NPC.

Contracting Player Ailments
Visits to certain harlots will result in the player getting tagged with certain ailments.  For the milder ones, they can be resisted if the player has a high enough Will or Constitution.  This will be a straight stat check.  As I've said before, because so much will be hidden beneath the surface, the only RNG will be in initial stat generation and which harlots are presented to the player.  Stronger ailments will require the player possessing the right charm to resist them.

Effects of Player Ailments
While the player won't know they have them, ailments will have various effects.  This will be to remove some choices in harlot rooms, triggering Bad Ends with the wrong harlot, or even forcing the player to pick certain harlots during presentation.

Example - Boob Fixation
The player has become unhealthily attracted to boobs.  This is something Suffocatrix Mamilla will impart on them after 'breaking them in'.  Having this ailment will affect the player's choices with certain big-boobed harlots and may even force them to pick certain harlots.  An example will be Boobella.  While the player won't be forced to pick her, it will change some of the options in her room.

The aim of keeping everything vague and hidden is to make each run out play out differently for different players without resorting to too much RNG.

Gifts Overhaul
This is the other aspect I was brainstorming.  Most harlots tend to have a single gift they like and a single gift they hate.  I want to extend this to classes of gifts - eg romantic gifts, beauty gifts, consumable gifts, etc.  I can't fix it all in advance, because I will be continually adding new gifts and would then have to update every previous harlot, which will be horribly inefficient.  I'm thinking of adding an array of numerical tags to each gift, and then have the harlots that care about such things check the gift's tags.

This will likely be for the release after the NPC Nurse release.

As always, thanks for your continued support.

To be fair Hydra, your story may not have placed in the V.Day competition, but it currently sits a comfortable user rating of 4.80. So for a “long shot at best” you did pretty damn good ;)
