House of Hellish Harlots - Update 19th Jan '20 (Patreon)

This was a much better week.  Unfortunately, my a "it will be a bit tight" was a gross underestimate.  The longer scenarios take longer to type up and implement, and even with solid, uninterrupted work days, I still have a fair bit to do.  I'm working the weekend again, but I feel like I've got things rolling again, so I don't feel too bad about that.  It will mean, unfortunately, I'll be pushing back the release to next weekend.  I know some of you will be disappointed at that, so I apologise in advance.  The other option was to flay myself half to death and rush out something subpar, and I don't think that would have benefited anyone.

A quick aside on deadlines.  I tend to set these as a productivity aid, which means they're often very tight and usually not hittable if there is more work than I first thought.  This is to stop me slouching around for the first week and then trying to rush everything last minute, and still missing the deadline anyway.  Generally, if you've been around here for a while, you'll know by now to add a week or two on what I say.  At one point I did think about going dark to manage expectations a bit better, but I like regular updates.  It keeps me more focused when I have to hand a report in every week!

I have been wondering about harlot complexity.  I did mention I needed to cut some of the scenarios down and some of you contacted me with concerns about making them too simplistic.  I'll keep trying to figure out the right balance as I work on them.  The upcoming batch should be a nice contrast as some will have a few player choices in the room (and have multiple scenes), while a couple will be determined by the player's choices going into the room (a single scene).

Boobella is another multi-scene harlot.  I switched her out for (massage lamia) when I realised things were tight (as the lamia is single-scene).  Now I've had to put things back a week, I might have time to get her done, but the first priority will be to get the other 5 done and tested first.

Still to do, but she's a single scene succubus with hidden variables affecting the outcome.

As always, thanks for your continued patience and support.  I wish I could be a bit more accurate with my release date predictions!  I think these 5 will be worth it, though.
