Before I launch into more fiction analysis and (hopefully good) writing tips, I thought I'd let people know I also do updates on my blog and twitter.  I'm sure most of you probably know this already, but I thought I'd throw this out just in case some of you didn't.

I'm pretty iffy at the social media side of things, so I tend to be a little sporadic.  For a while I neglected the blog.  I'm trying to get a bit more balance on that type of stuff.

The reason I bring it up now is I wrote a few recent posts on using Darkest Dungeon as an idea for a monster girl hentai RPG, and they might be worth a look if you haven't already read them.

Unfortunately, they're pretty speculative posts.  I don't think I have the know-how or resources to create Monster Girl Quest Darkest Dungeon, and no amount of running around, cap-in-hand, for cash would change that.  I like to jot ideas down when I have them.  That way they're there if I decide to come back to them.  And also, on the off chance someone with decent Game Dev chops reads it and decides that it might be fun to build it.  (If I can't build it, I'm sure as hell not going to complain if someone else picks the idea up and makes a kickass game out of it!)

It's been a strange month so far.  At the start I thought I'd be spending it creating another CYOA scenario based on some notes I'd put together a while back.  Then I looked at the notes, realised I was trying to build something absurdly complicated for no real reason (there was a markov chain for breathing!), and decided to shelve it until I had a better idea on what I wanted for "The House of Hellish Harlots".

Instead, I decided to knuckle down and finish a bunch of the half-finished stories I have lying around.  One of those is done in 1st draft, and I hope to have it typed up, edited, and released before the end of the month.  No naming rights for this one, I'm afraid.  It's poor Stewart Peter Bate meeting another sexy Bad End at the hands (or in this case tits) of a H-space succubus.  Some lactation stuff going on in this one.

Then I had an idea for "The House of Hellish Harlots", which turned into a brainstorming session, where a lot of things suddenly seemed to drop in place.  So much so, I think I have a framework and a core gameplay loop, and a bunch of things that fit together in a way I want them to fit together.  I'm quite excited about it, so I'm planning to throw some time at it to see if those ideas translate smoothly to code.

Early days though.  In theory this is the framework I've been looking to create for a long time as a vehicle to throw an extensible number of sexy monster girl encounters at the players.  In practice (and especially in coding), the implementation side is not always as smooth.  So, we'll see.
