definitely didn't think i'd lose as many patrons as i did... and without youtube's income, i may have to quit this field of work and try to get a 9-5 or something...

obviously i don't want to do that, but i can't afford my bills at this point and i'm so scared to be in this position...

i'm asking you guys, as my supporters and some as my friends, what do you think i should do?

I’m sure wether you stay doing YouTube and Patreon content or decide to go another route altogether, everything will work out in the end, when you have supporters like us who’ll help and stick with you all the way, you’ll never be alone! Do what you think is best for yourself because in the end, we’re still going to support you no mater where you are!!

Jeff

Honestly as someone who has been in this position, I would really recommended making a wholesome channel and doing the generic anime plots that get views all the time like bully, tomboy etc to build up subs again and promote your patreon to the moon! Don't be afraid to ask for help and just say it how it is because I'm sure you have very loyal supporters too that wouldn't want to see you have to cut down on audios because of YouTube's bullshit. You can even try maybe streaming too if you're into it or irl content but I know a lot of people don't want to go down that route so idk about you lol, I hope it works out because it sucks this post has to happen because of YouTube deciding to take income off like it's nothing, especially when you didn't even get a warning :/ maybe also make a time table of future exclusive uploads for Patreon and post it on Twitter to get a few people on board too ah, YouTube you suck

Finding a work at home online job could be a good medium. After setting up your youtube again the income should come back to what it was, this is probably a temporary situation that will last a month or so but as said earlier, getting a work at home job could be a good option as you build your youtube and patreon back up

Ram

Just subscribed to the new channel. And listen to Varyana! I’d hate to see you go. You’re easily one of the better RP performers and seeing you give up on that would be frustrating. But at the end of the day it’s your call and only you know what you’re capable of. But I genuinely think you can become a bigger name. Please reach out to your peers too like Vary if they’re willing to help!

Prof. Walker

I 100% agree with Varyana. Many love ASMR and you can build back up watcher that would love to be able to get that full thing.

I'll support you, but I agree with varyana

It definitely seems difficult to both work and make content, but I believe in you. Caring for yourself and IRL stuff comes first. I don't even mind if it slows down content. Once you've got yourself stable content creation can start off as a nice secondary income. Making a channel that focuses on more SFW content and/or teases NSFW content definitely seems the best way to go. I always found it kind of weird that you only posted NSFW roleplays but I appreciated the content regardless. It'll definitely be rough starting over again like this but I believe in you. Think of it as a grand new beginning to you and your content. And if you can't believe in yourself, believe in the us that the believe in you.

I would recommend trying other sites that aren’t as trash with their guidelines to aid in that. The usual generic vids that Varyana suggested also helps (especially in the YouTube algorithm). Otherwise, don’t give up you got this.

Timmy

You beg and whine a lot. Idk if this is the norm for patreon but it’s disturbing to see you pop up in my emails practically begging your supporters for money to get by. You were doing fine when you were grinding and just putting out content. Now it seems like I’m subscribed to an entitled person’s Facebook constantly making “woe is me” posts. I hope you don’t give up on your voice acting because you have a legitimate talent but definitely scale back on how much you share about your personal life and financial struggles. We all have problems but we support you to escape those problems and listen to your voice.

Dunno why people unsubscribe so fast, talk about a lack of empathy smh

Your life should always be your priority, so the question is, what would you prefer, a potentially stable 9-5 work where you might or might not enjoy the work you do, or a rough patch in your current work due to incident out of your control, noone can take that decision for you. Just know that no matter your choice, ill support you for as long as im able to.

First of all it's your health and care, your are a talented person, so the people Will notice You, and You can work normally again

I may be relatively new to your channel, but I will say that as someone who is well familiar with many content creators with a similar theme, yours stood out to me and is currently the only channel that I have subscribe on patreon. I'm sorry that you had to go through everything that you've been going through one after another but I'll continue cheering you on and supporting you as long as I can. Not knowing the specifics of your location/capabilities in terms of work, I will say that if capable, I'd think that getting a stable income would be prudent to start off with. I know many content creators on both youtube/patreon will use these sites as an additional source of income while working a daytime job as well. That being said, because of the health concerns that you've had to deal with recently, and any stress/anxiety that you may have that might prevent you from working, all I can suggest is try not to push yourself too much if possible, even getting something part time would help to reduce the financial burden a little. I wish you the best and hope that whatever you decide will work out for you!

I havent even cared that there is a drop in uploads , focus on your own life. Do what u have to do. Getting a notification that u have posted is a treat when it happens and dont pay any mind to people who expect u to be like a monkey dancing for dollars. Take your time and do what u gotta do but know i support u ( I dont mean to sound like I matter alot I want to say we but I can only speak for myself) and I have no plans to unsubscribe even if u dont post for a long time. Your a human being , u need time. Be unapologetic that u need to take that time. And if u dont want to get a regular job maybe listen to varyana it's one pro giving advice to another pro we love to see it. TL:DR ....do you

First, just GIVE IT TIME before you make a decision . Everyone is an expert, of all the suggestions suggestions, the best one was to let the dust settle a little bit, get better, Allow the emotional part of the experience to pass so You can make a decision based on the facts. You’ve had a lot of things thrown at you, and you’re still recovering. Some of us will be more supportive than others, but those others will come back once you are back on your game. Just don’t make any life-changing decisions in the heat of the moment, with people telling you to do different things or some people even being critical. This too will pass, and you will be back on your feet and tearing it up for your supporters big time. No need to make a huge decision right now. Focus on yourself, getting better and getting back to what you like to do. If it’s not working for you then, you can Move on. Either decision you make is going to be difficult. Walking away from this won’t be simple either.

Honestly would hate seeing you go, I love your content. But this isn't about me, and you need to do what you need to do. I like Varyanas idea, make some wholesome stuff for youtube and patreon exclusives here. You're the only person who knows what you truly want to do, and we who love your content and care about you will support you in any decision. I really truly hope some good luck comes your way, you deserve it.

Dreezy

Of course as a customer I’d like for you to stay but this is something that affects you a lot more than me, I feel like for now you could take a break from content creation for a while and do what you need to do to continue being able to afford what you need to live then if you ever have free time or feel like your ready to hop back and give yt Patreon or whatever another try then sure go ahead, but you come first in a situation like this, especially with all the shit you’ve been through recently

HUCK B HOUND

I'm so sorry to hear this but you have to take care of yourself and do what's good for you to survive you can always come back to doing this when you have some free time I can't say that I'm not going to miss your voice in my ear it's so relaxing but you take take care of yourself and be well

GingerBread

Take care of yourself first, non of this happens without you so do what you need to
