OH Boy, this audio was challenging to make! But I wanted to make something like this soo bad for so long now. the first challenge was writing the story out in a way that gives the speaker character to have an actual reason to encounter the tentacle monster. I also had to find a way where I, as the speaker, could make it clear what was happening at any point without it sounding out of place. (one does simply not talk and describe a lot while getting assaulted by a huge monster in normal circumstances heheh) Sooo that lead me to Hunter! I thought a Curious explorer boy would make the perfect vessel to bring this scenario to life with! :D The next challenge was the slimy tentacle sound effects.. I could lie and say that I professionally recorded an octopus by putting it in front of a microphone but... The truth is... I bought a gallon of Lubricant, got into my swimming shorts, hopped into the recording booth, and wiggled around a bit~ 😅
