A Lost January? (Patreon)

I know some of the warriors' patrons weren't quite impressed with my inactivity in January, and I totally understand it.

People support me here and expect me to release content every other day or so.

I have no complaint on this expectations, but I just wanted to remind you that - not a single image set and comic was just done out of the blue, and just for the sake of it.

Sadly, the route of creation that I've chosen requires a lot of off-screen works; preparations, plannings, fixes and... revisions. I don't want to make just another porn comic.

With that being said, I'm not trying to say that my stuff is better than others to justify any of my inactivity.

So let me explain.

Valentine Ep. 2

This comic was initially doing fine. But right in the middle of the third act, I sensed that something was off with the setup. Dina and Amir converse in the living room?

On the paper, it sounds like a good idea. But after reviewing the final pages several times, I decided that something needs to be changed.

I decided to halt the comic while I'm looking for a better setup that went with the main plot. This turned out to be taking a lot of time. And no, I haven't found the perfect answer as for now.

Characters Limitations

As an artist, I try to keep myself improved all the time. Whether it's technical knowledge to solve problems, or just simply a better eye to see in between those polygons.

I have done quite a few upgrades on my characters. The most notable examples are Fitri, Anita (her mom) and Noor.

But working with the models every day, I gradually caught flaws in each and every one of them. And when I found it, I tend to do quick fixes, that won't force me to dwell in the arduous process of making all-new character again.

That's why most of the characters you see on each image sets or comics, are basically the latest iteration of their 'fixes'. But sometimes, even quick fixes aren't good enough.

The Curious Case of Noor

Noor has been always a fan favorite. And I wholeheartedly agree with you.

She is cute and has that next-door girl aura to her characters. She looks well on sexy scenes and performs adequately on sex scenes.

But. There is a steep price to pay for that cute face.

She has no expressions.

The pages on Valentine Ep. 2 will feature some of her in a few scenes, and while I realized this problem long ago, I felt her limitations is just too big to ignore this time.

It just won't work.

I tried and spent a lot of time to fiddle with her current base and make her do what I want (which is more than I used to back then). But I just can't.

And because I couldn't let you enjoy a Noor that isn't capable of conveying a story the way I wanted to, I have to resort to the last option.

To recreate her from scratch.

I know I will face quite a backlash with this decision.

Hell, she doesn't even look the same!

I know. And you are right.

My choice to have her recreated forcing me to use a new base with a new set of textures as well. I tried to catch some of her old traits - but some, are just impossible to recreate without me going over the same mistakes I did back then when I created her in the first place.

So just like what I did with Fitri - I just made her the way she was supposed to be made. A better version of her, I hope.

So, ladies and gentlemen. Meet the all-new, Noor.

I'm hoping in time, she will grow into you and keeping her status as a fan favorite. And I'm also hoping, soon, I could show you how far I can make this new version of her doing stuff better.

But that's not all.

While I halt the Valentine Ep. 2 comics, I'm thinking to push Young Love Ep. 7 to cover for it. I have the storylines ready, and after just a few pages into it - I crashed into the same thing.

This time - Arini, is the problem.

January is probably the busiest - if not the most - month I've had for a long time working on this project. 

While I can't show you previews right now, in the end, I made massive upgrades on several characters in my library: Amir, Dina, Andre, Maruf are among the list for medium adjustments.

While on the all-new front, we have Arini, Benny - and a whole new set of casts which I will reveal in a few days.

No. January wasn't lost.

With your support, I made a lot of upgrades on my arsenal. And while I'm aware that you aren't getting final products on them yet, well, this is part of the things that you were supported me to do.
