patreon changes (Patreon)

hey guys. as you can see, I've put a Fresh coat of paint on the patreon. I've updated it to be more of a general support system rather than specifically for the game, as I'm going to be hopefully focusing on my next text game as well as my stories a bit more whenever I am able to come back. In accordance with this, I have created two major changes: first of all, I have removed character tier entirely. This system was always kind of a thorn in my side ever since the beginning, making it work with patreon was quite difficult. So I've decided to axe it entirely. I will be moving it to a commission-based system over on fa, which I will post whenever I am able to start working on the next version of the game after the one I'm currently working on. Any patrons I still owe scenes 2 will receive free slots in accordance with how much I owe them and priority in receiving them. this will allow me to change prices easier, and illuminates the headache of trying to do so many scenes each and every month. secondly, I have added something called story tier to replace it. This will focus more on my short stories period for $10 a month, you will receive Early Access, one day to be exact, for all short stories that I will end up posting publicly. Additionally, I will create story suggestion threads that you guys can suggest stories to me through. I will end up taking these ideas whenever I want to write but don't really have any inspiration. Please do not make them too complex, these will not be 5000 Word Stories! thirdly is something I haven't implemented yet, but I have seen a few other people do. With patreons new system, $1 pledges are incredibly inefficient. So, I wish to ask the $1 patrons if they would like me to increase that tier to $2 a month. the reason is that with the new system $1 pledges now cost you $1.37 a month and I still only see around $0.95 of it. a $2 pledge ends up being more cost-effective for both you and me by reducing the overall service fee from around 38% to 20%.
