(remainder of description written by Zach Woliner)

Join Zach and Mike as they hop a plane/jet/spaceship/aircraft of indeterminate type and take a trip through the veil of invisibility (or whatever it’s called) into the heart of the hidden African nation of Wakanda, as they discuss Black Panther, the 18th film in the MCU.

They discuss the cultural importance of the film and the positive Black representation it brought to the forefront in Hollywood and superhero films in particular, while questioning some of the film and superhero logic present.  Plus CORPORATE GREED, CANCER, PREPARING FOR THE LOSS OF YOUR PARENTS, AND OTHER FUN TOPICS!

The background inserted film dialogue got me again. Sometimes it seems that my mind wandered for a few seconds, then my focus shifts back to the pod but I'm slightly confused by the quieter film dialogue playing, with whatever might be happening on mic on top of that. More of a listener feedback note than a complaint though, I enjoyed the episode, probably even more than the last. But that production aspect kinda demands a little more work on my end in the long run, capeesh?

Maybe I'm the only one this actually bothers though. And if that's true, throw me in the outlier pile, let me burn, and keep doing what you're doing. I should also say that I truly enjoyed the moment between Z-Man and Mike relating personally to the experience of losing your parent(s). It also reminded me that this podcast really is about Mike's perspective on these films. I think it's about balancing all the rest around Mike

The Z-Man has my father-in-law’s style of recapping a movie in about the same time as it takes to watch the movie.
