The first famous person I met was Jonathon Richmond too! He was my hero. I was a new musician and was dating a bartender who worked at a bar owned by his then girlfriend in SF. I played my first solo show ever and he was one of the only people there. Unfortunately a portion of my set were covers of his songs! He came up to me afterwards and said I was "sincere", Coming from him that was a huge compliment to me. The next night I saw him again at a show and he introduced me as his "friend". That was a one night friendship but I cherish it heartily.
