October 2021 Personal Project (Patreon)

FOr my personal project this month I had a hell of a lot of fun bringing some seasonable spookiness to a Good Omens zine piece for a new zine I was recently accepted into :)

The "Get a wiggle on 2" zine - details here and here - is a snake Crowley themed zine, and I had the idea to do an AU weresnake image.  So some fun TF themes, as well as getting to do a Big Snake transformation!

I'll likely make a second zine piece for another monthly personal project coming up in the next month or two, and I'll post info when preorders for the zine comes up in case anyone's interested :)

I'm attaching some WIPs of the art so you can see more of my process I'm working with.  This is done nearly entirely in procreate - save for the initial sketch which I just drew out traditionally and photographed.  I still used photoshop to set up the base color layer (arania_weresnakewip3) since its line recognition is a bit better than procreate's - I still have issues with some flash/artifacts outside the lines when I use procreate's equivalent of the magic wand.
