Hello everyone!

I wanted to post this information to let you know I'm doing a minor change to the way Patreon charges my patrons.

For the vast majority of you, this will have ZERO effect on you.

However, from now, new or increased pledges will be charged for that month when it is pledged.

Typically, all charges are made on the first of the month. However, what this means is if you make a NEW pledge (or increase the value of your pledge) on, say, February 15, you will be charged when you pledge on Feb 15, and then go into the normal rotation of the first of each subsequent month for as long as you are pledged.

If you have already pledged, and are not increasing the amount of your pledge, it will continue to process the first of every month as normal :)

So while this is still the same number of payments, when all is said and done, it just means that the FIRST month is charged on the date you pledge.

Bonus - what it means for you guys if you raise your pledge, or for new pledgers, I can immediately provide you with the reward of your pledge rather than having to wait until the next month for it to process.

If you, for example, raise a pledge from $2 to $10, you get immediate access to the current month's donation artwork that is posted on my Patreon. And if you donate for a reward such as a follow on twitter, or a spotlight on my website, or even prints + sketches, I can provide you your rewards when you pledge. If you decide to pledge for a skype chat with me, I can schedule something with you THAT month rather than waiting till the next month to start. It will also make bookkeeping for me easier :)

The donation art will still be released along with the website updates, but I will continue to leave the previous month's donation art online and available for download for the entirety of the month.
