I've just posted the "February" update to my website!  I hope you all enjoy the new crop of artwork - and seriously, let me give you all a huge shout out of thanks for the continued support and understanding while I've been dealing with a lot these last few months.  BUT I've still got a great crop of new art for you all this month!

PLUS, I'll be notifying a lucky winner of this month's free TF Special here in a little bit!

  1. Thank you so much to everyone for your patience with me - and for understanding about the update this month being 1 day late.  February is an awfully short month after all, BUT!  The "February" update is now live!
  2. HEALTH UPDATE:

I've been feeling stronger throughout the month of January following my Thyroid Cancer surgery on December 12.  I've been going to a lot of follow-up doctors' appointments with my surgeon and endocrinologist.  So far, my numbers aren't where we want them to be yet (my thyroid hormone levels are still low - but we're working on bringing them back up to where they're supposed to be).  Also, we're keeping an eye on my thyroid antibiodies (thyroglobulin) levels.  Currently, they're not 0 - which could either mean that there's just still some remnant antibodies in my bloodstream since my surgery wasn't that long ago... or that there is still some cancer in my system :( . I'll be having a restaging (recheck for cancer) in May, and we'll see if I need to go through any follow-up procedures.

My wife is also going to be needing to have surgery in early April, so when I do reopen commissions, I will probably still be taking my time for a bit as things have been rough for the both of us and I'll be helping her out much as she did for me during and after her surgery.

Based on the work I did this month, and metering out what's left on my to-do list, and budgeting my time for a lot of doctor's visits, I'm still planning on reopning commission with the next, End of March Update (MARCH 31).  I will probably not have very many slots for new commissions since I anticipate a lot of continuations of existing sequences, and will still

Plus, another new offer for us to help with bills/etc:

  3. NEW OFFER: "COMMUNITY FUNDED COLORS of the original CABIN IN THE WOODS by FOXYFUSSINGS"
My wife, foxyfussings, who has colored (so far) pages 1-4 is helping out with an offer to color more pages of the sequence in the style she's started!
All funding is going to our household to help with our joint medical bills/living expenses.
$5 minimum contribution.  She will color through the sequence in order - contributions will go towards coloring the next page in the sequence (that has not already been colored by either her or a guest artist).

Or You can sponsor a full page of your choice at the rate of ($20/character for full pages, or $50/comic page).
(If you're contributing towards a full page that is not next in the sequence, it must be for the full amount.  Make a note in the contribution if you would like to sponsor a specific page, otherwise I will assume is it a contribution for the next page).

She reserves the right to put a hold on payments if she falls behind.  But, at the moment,  Foxyfussing's Coloring : CURRENTLY OPEN
  4. COLORED VERSION OF HELEN AND CASSIE and the donation art for Sept 2018 are still available
  5. Crowdfunded Sequences - Colors for the first 4 pages of the original Cabin in the Woods; nothing else this month.  I have some credit towards the next page of Cabin 2.
SOON I plan on starting a new Community Funded sequence since we recently wrapped up the Good vs Evil: Corruption of the Innocent sequence, but there's been a lot on my plate lately and I haven't had the opportunity to pick which idea I want to put up next.  Stay tuned!
  6. Donation artwork for February 2019:
A single mother in a fantasy setting sometimes stelas to keep her and her daughter alive.  When the guild comes after her for the things she stole, she has no choice but to drink the unidentified vials she stole, hoping whatever they are can help her protect her and her daughter.
Woman -> Nonmorphic chimera creature (gorilla/lion/rhino) monster
    5 comics + 6 full page = 11 page total!

  7. Updated Commission Table:
I've tweaked prices in anticipation of the upcoming end of the hard close and reformatted the pricing table to hopefully make it better organized.  All the fullpage figure prices are at the top, ordered by increasing complexity of media, and the comic page prices are all at the bottom.
Also, I am no longer offering the TF special - I've had it for over 15 years for the same price, and I just can't afford to offer it any longer.

  8. Trying to Contact:
some lovely person out there with a s****r***j**@google.com (not gmail - though I tried to send an email to the same address @gmail) email address - I have tried to send you a thank you for your contribution + the colored houndoom art, but the email address is bouncing.  If you can contact me with another way to reach you that would be great - just let me know your full email address to verify it's you :)

Also: Trying to reach another contributor who bought the color Helen & Cassie comic whose email is bouncing. If you are m*****m**@e****.org - send me an email with an alternate email address to reach you so I can get you your artwork! <3
