VLOG #5: Discussing Website Revamp (Patreon)

Due to the nature of this video - I will be making this public in about a week, but my Patrons get early access. And this will be the exception, not the rule.

Please excuse the huge circles under my eyes: Eastern European blood + a LONG weekend.


In this video, I talk about the ideas and progress on the major Website reformat I would like to do. This is going to be a huge, expensive, and time-taking project, so I really, REALLY appreciate the continued support from you guys. It's really going to matter especially the next few months where I'm going to be saving money for this project.

The plans for the new site sound really promising! ^^ I've done my fair share of web programming (both recreationally and professionally) so if you need any help with development, debugging or just plain testing, I'd be happy to contribute. :)

Sounds like you've given the site design lots of thought, and I like the direction of the changes you described. One feature I didn't hear mentioned (or got distracted enough to miss): With longer TF series (and ongoing projects) spanning several site updates, I imagine a "subscription" feature that could drop an automated e-mail when a favorite series has new content. Presumably the subscription list could be purged when a series is concluded. Maybe too much hassle, since your fans probably check everything out with the monthly updates, but I think it would be a nice touch.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm not sure how feasible that would be on the amount of coding required vs the functionality of the feature, but I'll consider it. There won't be any kind of log on or user names for viewers to the site, though, so that would be a complication. Each sequence should be able to be direct linked with the new format we're planning, though.
