Feb Update will be 1 day late (Patreon)

The website update is going to be ONE DAY LATE this month
February is a short month, and this will mean a bit more art for you guys, PLUS I am going to be out of town Feb 27 and 28, so I will not be back/able to update the site until March 1. 

That's all - sorry about that, but as it's going everything is still on track to reopen commissions March 31 with the end-of-march Update.  I'll keep ya'll posted!

It's funny, but I was saying to Scarlet White just the other day that I've never been able to understand why February is such a short month. Pretty sure they could take a couple of days from elsewhere in the year!

Not a problem at all. We know you've been through tough times, and even if we didn't, a 1 day late art update isn't going to dissatisfy me in the least. In regards to calendar days, the gregorian calendar hilariously stupid for a number of reasons. Most of the names are due to latin counting, but then some are inserted in the middle because of hubris from emperors. For example August was put into place by Emperor Augustus, but that also means October is the 10th month, even though Oct is a prefix that means 8. Just... wow. Imagine if we had 13 months of 28 days + new years, and when leap year comes around we get 2 new years days. All months of equal length, 28 is divisible by 7 so same number of weeks every month, and every date is the same weekday every month of the year, though it changes every year. But hey, it's tradition, and therefore basically unchangeable. So here we are :D

Yup! That always bothered me as well - same thing, SEPT-ember should be the 7th month, NOV the 9th, DEC the 10th - all of those are also numerical names. but those Roman emperors Augustus and Julius had to force themselves into the calendar ;) .
