EDIT:  Auction Back On
Okay, there were a few gag bids.  From this point on, I will be confirming bidders via the email address provided - and we're going to give this a second go.  Bear in mind, if the auction ends, winning bidder will have 3 days to pay or I will contact the next highest bidder :)

You only have to be confirmed for the first bid.  If you want to participate in the end-of-auction snipe-guard time, please either make a bid at least an hour before the end of the auction or pre-confirm your email with me.

If severe issues continue, I will turn this into just a private silent auction where people email me directly.

**

I am running a "your character here" auction to have a character of YOUR choice in the Cabin in the Woods crowdfunded sequence sequel!
Auction runs until Sunday March 11, 6pm Central Time

There is a snipe-guard of 5 minutes.
In other words, a bid made in the last 5 minutes of the auction will extend the auction 5 minutes from the time the bid is made.  Then each subsequent bid extends the auction another 5 minutes.  The final bid must stand for a full 5 minutes to "win".

You will enter your email address when you bid, and I will get a copy of that, but it will not be publicly displayed.  The alias you use to bid (please continue to use the same name if you make multiple bids) will be the only thing publicly viewable.

>> BID HERE <<

>> BIDS POSTED HERE <<

There is no minimum bid, but there is a minimum increase of $5 above the previous bid.

WHAT YOU GET!

-
A character of your design as a main character in the upcoming Cabin in the Woods sequel!

- Cabin 2 will be another Crowdfunded Sequence
I already have at least 4 pages credit to start the sequence!

- No promises on length, but it will be at least 50 pages, the sequel will progress at a rate based on contributions to the series, just like the first one.

- To clarify, you are bidding JUST on having your character in the story, the money does NOT contribute to credit on the sequence itself.

- CHARACTER PARAMETERS/RESTRICTIONS:

  • Normal humans, no magic, no powers, real-world setting
  • Can be based on you or an original character
  • Winner can pick the character name, appearance, clothing
  • Winner gets to pick the animal
    Must be a non-extinct, non-mythical, real-world animal
    You can specify a particular breed/color phase/subspecies
Your character will completely become a nonmorphic, herm animal
  • Winner can give me a list of like 5 personality traits
  • Winner can give me an outfit to start in, but I might change it up as the sequence goes as they change, especially if it is a complex outfit
  • If you have a signature accessory/etc that you want to remain for a while, you can let me know
  • Complex tattoos will either not be shown or drastically simplified
  • Winner can pick basic reactions of the character – but if the change is willing, then the transformation WILL go faster by the setting mythos
  • Once I get the info, I will run with it – scenes, etc will be up to me.
  • This is NOT a commission, you can send in your suggestions with everyone else for scene ideas when I open them up, but the changes, the order, the interactions with other characters will be up to me
  • The character will likely have sexual encounters with both males and females (and intersex/herm characters)

The series will start off with 2 new characters: Yours, and one I create to be a good compliment to your character.  A fair way into the sequence, I will introduce another pair of characters.
If you win this auction, your character WILL be able to interact with Carla from the first sequence!

    Payment Due:
    - Within 3 days of auction close or I will contact the next-highest bidder

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, feel free to post them here and I will answer them!

lol. Well, that escalated quickly.

Falkie

already at 500$, is that a real bet, or a fake one? that spike seems pretty insane.

I confirmed the $500 bid - so that one is legitimate - the ones after it were spoof bids. Sometimes people will bid big early on auctions to try to dissuade competition.

Well jeepers. This is, for obvious reasons, downright fascinating to me to watch. :3
