dad villain au: akumatized Marinette concept (Patreon)

though I did have a concept for a Caspases!Marinette variant, we're going down a different path. When Tom akumatizes Marinette, he tries to give her the strength he knows the last timeline's Ladybug had by giving her a similar set of abilities and a similar outfit. (considering Hawkmoth was able to do this with Chloe in Antibug, you can imagine Marinette is pretty strong in this form since Viceroy is better at this than Gabriel lol)

her name is Bitterbug to communicate that this Marinette still is very much entrenched in grief regarding her mom, and her desire to prevent another person from feeling what she felt is how her heroism manifests. her "lucky charm" ability is called "fortune favors," and yes, Fu is going to see this shit and go "he y whadda the hell"
