a couple people have had the question: will Felix ever be akumatized in this AU? I've avoided answering it publicly because the answer is

yes! yes they do! uh ohhh!!!!

((actually to be completely honest, their akumatization chapter is just for me to write a bunch of felinette content. lmao.))

their akumatization is Oberon, the Fae King. they just look like Jareth from the labyrinth + Puck from gargoyles, with a loving dash of "get that gender out of here."(of course their akumatized object is their precious stimming bracelet.) 

 lowkey its an ideal form for them, long hair, elegant and glittery, freeflowing, magical but threatening - it really grinds Gabriel's gears to let Felix have this sort of transformation, but as Hawkmoth, he's just using Felix to try and get to Marinette. By this point, Hawkmoth doesn't suspect Marinette of being Ladybug, but suspects she might know who Ladybug is, or has evidence cluing people in on that. The best way to twist the knife is to akumatize Felix, and use them to pressure Marinette on what she might know. Playing dirty, as usual.
