Dev Note: Thank you so much for your patience with this update.

I am honestly so mentally drained from having to write over 45 chapters for the main story but I really wanted this update to be THE LAST update I ever have to focus on this story line. It's 97% complete in terms of writing (190 chapters out of 195) so there's 5 left to do that'll be done in Alpha 0.48 but that update will be an Effie storyline focus and will include ALL of her storyline including ALL rendered scenes and CG H-scenes.

From here on out, there will no longer ever be an update where the main story takes priority, any work done, whether that'd be rendering a scene or two will be done as a bonus. Slowly chipping at it rather than blasting into it with TNT.

I know a lot of you were missing the spicy content in the game and so was I, the main story was looming over me for the longest time and I never felt the game could be at a 'completed' state if it kept being neglected. Powering through this storyline for the past few updates has lifted a ton of weight off my shoulders.

I promise, the only thing we can expect moving forward now are fun dating-sim side stories and a lot of spicy content with your favourite characters and soon to be ones.

I appreciate everyone who has stuck around, whether you've decided to continue pledging or pause it while I worked this chunk of work out, I still appreciate you even supporting and playing this game at any point and keeping it going!

The rest of 2023 and forward will be a good one for A Town Uncovered.
