Alpha 0.23/0.24 - What's New? (Patreon)

Hey guys, just wanted to cover a few things about 0.23 and what's going to happen with Alpha 0.24.

Alpha 0.23 is out now for all patrons if you've missed that post or release somehow. You can download it now in the previous posts or through the master list link in the page's info section.

I know a lot of you are still wondering about the Android and I apologize for it taking forever to come out. Life gets in the way and sometimes we need to prioritize more important things over A Town Uncovered. If you are experienced in porting Ren'py games to Android though or know someone who may be able to do it, please get in contact with me. It can speed things up for sure.

I've been a bit quiet recently in activity mainly because I took a week off, give or take just for myself and to handle some life stuff that I've been putting off for a while. Hope you guys understand.

With that being said, I'm mentally ready to take on Alpha 0.24. Robert and I have decided to dedicate this update towards the main story instead of one particular character's side story. It has already been int he works since mid-development of 0.23 and obviously still on-going. Each day, more and more muscles are added onto the skeleton of a story we have. 

We want to work on the most difficult area of the game and get that done by 0.25 so that at the very least, all beginnings have an end rather than having open endings and unresolved questions.

From there though, it will all be side stories of characters (shorter ones compared to the first 3 most popular characters; Missus, Jane, Miss Allaway), and working on connecting things together in hopes to create a truly 'continuity-accurate' experience based on how you play the game. 

For the most part, we want you to start any side story in any order you want and finish any side story in any order you want, all whilst all the characters are in a web of connections to each other.

That's really all there is to this update, I reckon. Thank you for the patience, support, and understanding to the development of A Town Uncovered. You guys are the best!
