Alpha 0.21 - What's New? (Patreon)

Alpha 0.21 will be working on the Jane/Roommate story line. We originally aimed to finish this update but after working out how it's going to end, there ended up being more scenes than anticipated. So we're now aiming for a close to finish if not the end. 

It's still in the writing stage and 80% of it is being written by the new writer, Robert Hawkins. It's safe to say that he'll take care of most of the writing from now on with me to only help brainstorm, guide, proofread, and make modifications where needed.

Besides the side story, the main story's CG art is mostly complete. I only need to render and code in 1 or 2 more scenes.

And besides the story side of things, I've updated the calendar so that it's easily readable as to what day it currently is in-game, and I've reworked the PC so that the features are now functional as desktop shortcuts. 

Some changes I've made is that I've made the 'skip to next chapter' button available to all but to 'manually enter a chapter' is restricted to when cheats are enabled. This will allow users to skip a section of the game when a trigger does not work, that is its main purpose.

Additionally, I've allowed access to the 'force enable map' button on the phone instead of it being restricted to cheat-code users. This is so in case the map disappears when it's meant to appear doesn't work, you can force it to appear with a click of a button.

Besides that, I've gone through the google forms for the bug report and fixed every single bug reported that I can. Reporting the bug through there makes it extremely easy for me as it keeps everything in one place and generally increases efficiency. Thank you to all who took the time to report something, even the smallest, minor bugs help make the game that more smoother.

Just to reiterate what I said last time, there won't be any update this month, they will all be released starting at the beginning of November. As I usually work in 4.5-5 week increments per update, there will be months like this where it just runs over the entire 30 days.
