Taking the Month of August off (Patreon)

Hey, guys.

I figured that I should inform you that I will be taking August off from working on A Town Uncovered. I'll be using this time to work on another project and re-evaluate my life and the development plan for this game. Just a mental break and a chance to try something different, nothing more, nothing less.

I didn't think I would be taking another month off this soon, so I apologize for this. I will pause the campaign on the 5th of August so you, patrons won't be billed at the start of September. Billing will start up again at the start of October.

The release dates are also pushed back a month to compensate.

What I can tell you right now for the game is that 0.20 will be the main story update, and that when I'm back from the break, I would want to have a writer or two on A Team Uncovered. If any of you are interested in this gig, contact me at geesekivn@gmail.com. You will be tasked with writing the side story dialogues for the various characters in the game.

Thanks for your support and your understanding, perverts. I honestly didn't imagine getting this far into development, it's quite mind blowing.

Yea sure we're paying for you to take a break, and work on a "new" project that we're not paying to support here we paid to support a town uncovered. Sure sept is gonna be free but you're doing nothing this month but using the current subs to fund some new project while you take yet another break after releasing the most miniscule of an update to a town uncovered last update. you're scammign your patreon supporters out of a month of no content and even extended the update by a month meaning the free sept month your doing nothing too.

Why Geeseki won't complete one storyline per time and then release the game with full complete character storyline? Instead he just release an update with 2 new scenes per month? Makes no sense at all. I know it takes times, so take the time need to release a good update, dude has potential for good stuff.

GeeSeki I am not even a patron. I just follow your game progress. Their complaint isn't the fact that they're getting a month of not having to pay, but the lack of content and having to pay for August. You stated twice that you won't be billed at the start of September. That doesn't seem to be the issue really, just the fact you're making them pay for a vacation, even if the next month is free. It's viewed as being disrespectful. Also noticed a in comments there's a lot of bugs. Might want to fix at least the game breaking ones first before your vacation. Just my 2 cents from a follower of progress.

Look, just because I release an update every month, doesn't mean you have to play every single one of them. If you want, and I highly recommend you do, just wait till one of the character's storyline is complete, then play the game. The reason I release one every month is to prove that progress is actually being made every month and I'm not just messing around doing whatever I want. Even if it's a slow grind. That's just my opinion.

Yup, I hear ya. I instead of getting billed in August and getting September free, they'd rather get August free and billed in September. I mean essentially in the span of 2 month, it's the exact same amount billed, theoretically. The only reason why people would be billed in September is if they've unpledged out of rage and then pledged again. Which beats the whole purpose of making September free. But eh.

Hi, I don't know if I can ask it there but If I can't , let me know where pls. First of all, I want to thank you for your work. I love the game. But I'm stuck in the roommate storyline due to a crash/freeze when I go to school. Any way to fix it? (got plenty of bugs with the school, everything else working great! ) I tried a previous version because I had already a crash at school but with the classroom when I tried to exit it. But now it crash directly, I can't even go in so I can't progress anymore. :/ Any way to fix it? Thank you (i've been looking for similar subject but didnt find none )
