Formatting!? (Patreon)

I've been pondering what changes I'm going to make to the books when I do my final edits. For now, I'm creating chapters, since that makes the most sense in this format. But I was thinking that when I edit later, I may squish sections together more based on whose PoV it's from. So instead of 'Chapter One hundred - Rouge', it would be just 'Rouge' or 'Aspen' for a section. Or I could bundle all of the chapters from that PoV into one, which would drastically reduce the number of chapters. What do you think? I just feel like the chapters are a good length for serial release, but too short for a 'real' book. 🤔

I also think I'm going to change the break between book one and book two to chapter one hundred. This would make the books closer to the same length, but it would also shift the break from Aspen gaining Party Chat (which is kind of a weak ending) to them leaving North Goose after the big battle with the Swineherd where Aspen affirms his decision to fight for Gina.

Oh! I've also noticed I've lost track of my quests (oops 😅) so I'll have to go in and put in quest completions and rewards. Haaa....

So much work to be done!

Is there anything else you can think of that might make the series more ready for Big Time? (aka Amazon)
