Seriously, how big a deal is a birthday anyway? (Patreon)

Mainly, I'm using my birthday as a feeble excuse to get you guys closer to where I'm writing. That said, I'm currently in Orlando. FL, because my mom is taking me to Disney.

Also, I'm 45 years old now 😂

Okay, so me getting to go to Disney is a side effect of taking my daughter, and we've been planning this since (I kid you not) 2018. We were scheduled to go in August 2019, which is when everything started to shut down. Then we hoped for 2020, but, well, wishful thinking, right? So here we are, and our original plans were cancelled again, and, honestly, I'm not that upset. My mom and I are vaccinated, but my daughter isn't, since she's only five. We pulled back a lot, but we're going to really focus on being together, having fun, and staying healthy. Wish us luck!

So are you guys ready for Rouge's upgrades? It'll take her a little while yet to get to use them, and get used to them. I know everybody loves to see characters just head out and start spamming those new Skills and Spells, but in Veritas, it's not just a matter of mashing buttons. Rouge has to retrain her body and mind to use them, and then actually pull it off. You're close enough to where I'm writing now that I can't look in my crystal ball and give you chapter numbers, either. I can say we're finally getting through some of the things that need to happen before Aspen can head back to the farm, though, which also means we're much closer to Khor's arc! I'm excited!
