This illustration is yet another response to the homophobic Facebook group, “We are against Pinkdot in Singapore”, a group filled with very ignorant and bigotted conservative people who are filled with such hatred for the LGBT community to such extent as to lodge a police report for an ad placed within a shopping centre. This is the same group that made a big hoo haa over the gay scene in beauty and the beast, the kiss within Les Miserables, rainbow cakes, childrens books and many more things within Singapore. Ignorant no doubt. Interestingly, Cathay, the organization which approved the placement of the advert released a statement to the media that it is supportive in an inclusive environment for all and they are all for equality of which I am extremely grateful for.
